The regional directorate of civil protection in the wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou reported on Tuesday 19 October a death and 12 injured people. This was following a traffic accident that occurred yesterday afternoon in the town of Ouadhias.

"The elements of the civil protection of the wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou intervened at 2:50 pm, following a traffic accident that occurred after a bus carrying passengers was diverted and fell," the Directorate General of Civil Protection said in a statement.

The regional directorate of civil protection in the wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou said that the accident caused the death of a woman and injuries to 12 other people, including 11 women and one man.
