GHANA: Policewoman murdered by her boyfriend

Has killing someone become so easy these days? Are people today almost possessive or have they become psychopathic? A policewoman, named Sandra Asiedu nicknamed Adwoa Perry was murdered at Damongo, West Gonja locality in Ghana. Her boyfriend was suspected to have committed the murder. He has been on the run since Sandra's death.

According to a statement from the police in the locality, the suspect is currently on the run. He is believed to have stabbed the policewoman with a knife. Thus, Sandra's cold body was found in a pool of blood with wounds that are believed to be from the weapon, according to the release.

The civilian man had fallen in love with the policewoman since the latter was sent to work in Damongo. They have had a discreet relationship since they were together before this horrible incident. The reason for the assassin's act is still unclear. Did they have a fight or would Sandra like to break up? Or is the boyfriend involved in something unhealthy? What was the reason?

One of the victim's friends alerted the command, according to the source close to the incident. They immediately went to the trail and discovered Sandra's lifeless body in a pool of blood. Her body was taken directly to the West Gonja Hospital mortuary pending autopsy.  However, the police are still pursuing and searching for her boyfriend as he is the main suspect.

The police are in the process of informing the family of the tragic incident.
