Here we go again. The Women's League of Nigeria will restart on 10 February. After two suspensions, the president of the League Aisha Falode thinks that this time the championship will come to an end.

Suspended twice for not respecting health protocols, women's football is expected to resume again. Indeed, the Women's League is restarting its activities which had stopped on the 5th day.

Therefore, the 14 clubs of the championship are invited to rigorously respect the established protocols. "We cannot afford to wait any longer. The league will resume on Wednesday, February 10, 2021," confirms Aisha Falode.

For the president, this decision was taken after testing all the players and club officials. "We won't wait for anyone anymore. We have lost five weeks of work to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in our elite league and save the lives of our players and officials," Falode said.

"Although there are several positive tests based on the results, the clubs involved have been instructed to keep these players out of the team's camp. And to replace them with other players who have tested negative," Falode continues.

"The clubs are supposed to monitor these positive cases. They have to ensure proper treatment and isolation. This is until they have a clean bill of health," added the Nigerian leader.
