The Taliban fired several shots in the air in the Afghan city of Kabul on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, to ward off Afghan protesters.

Nearly 70 Afghans, most of them women, protested yesterday in Kabul over the violent crackdown in Panchir, as well as Pakistan's interference in the Afghans' case. Pakistan has always been an ally of the Taliban.

The protesters went to the Pakistani embassy with placards and shouted slogans against Islamabad.

The women protesters demanded their freedoms and the freedom of their country. They challenged their right to study, which had been banned by the Taliban. Thus they are demanding that they cannot go out alone like those under Sharia rule in 1991.

"We are tired, we are tired of Pakistan bombing Panchir, we are tired of waiting at the airport," said Sarah Fahim, one of the demonstrators, from Kapisa province, near Panchir, north-east of Kabul.

"How long will this go on, when will our voices be heard? Why is the international community silent when they see so many people being killed? » She Said.

As a result, Taliban forces fired in the air to disperse them.

As a reminder, the return of the Taliban to power since 15 August had caused a surge at Kabul airport. As a result, tens of thousands of Afghans have fled their country. And now, those who have remained in the country are demanding their rights against violent laws imposed by the Taliban. Moreover, the Taliban are already thinking about forming their government after they take over.
